Adrian Mannering
Principal
Adrian is the principal of Irrigation Services Ltd, a company he began in 1995 in Hawke’s Bay. His ability to find innovative and effective solutions has been the underpinning reason for the success of the business. Adrian has considerable expertise and experience in the irrigation field:
- Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Agricultural Engineering) Massey University
- Certificate in FDE System Design and Management
- 30 years of irrigation and effluent design
He has undertaken all of the major design work for Irrigation Services in the North Island, including:
- T&G apple orchard irrigation developments, Hawke's Bay
- Apatu Farms Limited, Omapere vineyard
- Rob Wilson, integrated farm irrigation, pond and effluent disposal, Central Hawke's Bay
- Shannon Waste Water Scheme (irrigation to pasture), Horowhenua District Council

John Jones
Engineering Design, Compliance
John Jones is the water consenting and compliance expert for Irrigation Services. Engineering design requirements are also covered by John who joined the company in 2001. John has 25 years experience in the irrigation engineering and welldrilling industries, and has subsequently used his skills to design headworks for Irrigation Services. He brings a wealth of pumping and welldrilling knowledge. Before joining Irrigation Services Ltd John was an integral part of his family’s welldrilling business, John Hill Welldriller.
Dennis Rodgers
Engineering Fabrication
Dennis joined Irrigation Services in 2017 relocating from Danniverke where he spent 14 years as the Engineering Manager of a large meat processing plant. With a strong background in plant maintenance and fabrication Dennis' skills are a great asset to the team. As a keen gardener Dennis appreciates the importance of an efficient and effective irrigation system.
Wairarapa
Ben Coulson
Project Manager
Born and raised on a Wairarapa farm, Ben is passionate about the region. He has worked for Irrigation Services since 2005, during which time he had a stint away working in Western Australia on minefield irrigation projects. Ben has moved back to Wairarapa to raise his young family. We are thrilled to have Ben managing the Masterton office, as he is a valued team member who demonstrates initiative and practical skill. He has been involved with all facets of irrigation installation, completed water engineering courses and is support by the Hawkes Bay design team.

Sarah Johnson
Commercial
Sarah fulfills a vital communication role between the design and installation teams. She manages logistics of the irrigation materials, from pricing and ordering through to delivery to site. Coming from a dairy farming background in the Wairarapa, she completed a Bachelor of Horticulture at Massey University, and went on to work in agribusiness in New Zealand and Australia.
